Interiors: Chloe Sevigny's Home

Chloe Sevigny is a fixture of New York Cool, an Elle UK style advisor, and an independent film actress, but does her apartment evoke the same styling that has become synonymous with her personal style (within fashion).

Since Chloe's personal style of dress is usually loved or hated, I will let you be the judge. Personally, I find her style eclectic, unique, and has an era of freedom for the most part (she doesn’t seem to take it too serious) – and this is how I view here place.

Photographer: Julius Shulman

Julius Shulman might just be the most iconic photographer in architectural history and definitely my favorite. His photographs are simply amazing. They capture the spirit of an era and reveal the essence of an architect's vision.

His photograph of Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House taken in 1947, in Palm Springs, is one of my favorite photographs of all time (seen above), and the house itself is beyond words.

Doing Winter White Right

Remember: when wearing white trousers in the winter the weight of them have to be of a heavier material.

Photographer - Rodney Smith

Rodney Smith’s photographs are modern, relevant and stand the test of time. The beauty is in their simplicity, whimsy, and direction. They speak for themselves. He is a true master of his craft.

To enjoy all things Rodney Smith - http://www.rodneysmith.com/ – there will be no disappointment with your visit.

Lets Motor

I still love the look of "the simple shrunken leather jacket", however a shrunken motorcycle-inspired leather jacket has a freshness and edge to it that the other just does not bring. However, the same rules apply as to the simple shrunken leather jacket - in order not to look like an 80's reject.

Suited Knits

The use of a weighted knit over, or as a layer under, a suit or structured jacket has great appeal.

Plaid Men

It's not just for flannel anymore. A plaid coat can create some much needed visual interest and with the weather being cold it might be the only thing people see.

The color story in this first looks increadable - so fresh, elegant and crisp - amazing! The others are great too but there is just something about the first two.

Kanye's Home

Kanye West is in my mind a visual great and a man of great influence! His videos as of late (from his album: 808s & Heartbreak and his collaboration with Kid Cudi) are a fest for the eyes and his personal style is impeccable for the most part – it always has a bit of humour or whimsy too. This all translates perfectly to his home. I love to see how a home represents its owner; as it should, and what it says about them.

Kanye you are saying everything right!

Visuals @ Chanel

Even thought this is not a store front, it is Karl’s visual representation for the latest Chanel collection - the reason for using particular visual for his runway show. Chanel's last couture collection represents a new beginning.

Karl Lagerfeld said: "A white page, a linear and timeless graphic interpretation. It's like a starting point for the story of this new era, for which all the details still need to be written. This is why I chose paper as the theme for the couture collection this season."
